Salary: $17 - 19 / hr + incentive opportunity.

How You'll Make a Difference
As a Patient Care Consultant , you will be a treatment plan advisor for patients, helping them navigate their journey toward a healthier, more confident smile. Partnering closely with clinicians and office leadership, you'll ensure patients understand their treatment options and feel supported every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet one-on-one with patients to review treatment plans and recommendations provided by the clinical team
- Explain treatment options, procedures, insurance benefits, and financial solutions in clear, compassionate language
- Build trust and patient confidence by addressing questions, concerns, and barriers to treatment
- Create and present customized payment and financing options tailored to individual patient needs
- Use consultative communication techniques to help patients make confident, informed decisions about their care
- Partner with doctors and team members to deliver a seamless, patient-first experience
- Track patient consultations, treatment acceptance, and follow-up activity using practice management and CRM tools
- Leverage key performance metrics to improve patient outcomes and practice performance
- Support appointment scheduling, treatment coordination, insurance verification, and collections processes
- Assist in reinforcing daily office priorities and supporting the non-clinical team as needed
- Ensure all patient interactions align with company policies, government regulations, and dental board standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in patient coordination, consultative sales, healthcare, customer service, retail sales, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients of all backgrounds
- Ability to explain complex information in a simple, patient-friendly manner
- Comfort discussing insurance, financing, and payment options
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Experience with CRM, scheduling, or patient management systems preferred
- Patient-first attitude with empathy, professionalism, and active listening skills
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
