About The Role
JOB SUMMARY
The Region Manager manages all activities in an assigned sales region to include direct/indirect accounts as well as managing our broker network.  The goal of this critical role is to maximize sales and profits of Jack Link’s products within the Convenience Class of Trade. The territory for this role will be PA, NY, NJ, MD and DE. The team member will work remotely within the territory. Preference given to candidates living or willing to relocate to Pennsylvania. 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish, develop, and own business relationships.
- Manage sales territory results and performance through Power BI
- Engage regularly with direct/indirect customers via in-person sales calls/Teams
- Present to existing and prospective customers.
- Create and manage customer sales plans for existing brokers and customers ensuring all Link Snack’s DSMP guidelines are implemented
- Manage/Ownership of internal Trade Funding Tool
- Build business reviews and sales presentations for use with brokers, retailers, and distributor customers
- Evaluate broker performance to ensure Jack Link’s products are being appropriately represented to achieve sales, DMSP, and trade spending goals.
- Keep current with products, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.
- Deliver sales goals, trade spending and gross profit goals within the assigned territory.
- Plan, execute, and sell in at customer trade shows.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is an office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels.. The vast amount of work is conducted in a climate-controlled office. Travel may be required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. 
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of sales experience with consumer products.
- Experience selling within the Convenience Channel of Trade preferred
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
- Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Valid driver’s license/Insurable driving record.
- Extensive travel required.
- Proficiency in utilizing data in customer presentations to further develop business.
- Knowledge of the sales district/market and familiarity with direct and indirect customers.
- Experience working with brokers and distributors in CPG food and beverage environment preferred.
The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $125,000 ( Annually ).  Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
