Team Lead QA

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define quality standards and requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and automation strategies.
• Coordinate and oversee manual and automated testing efforts across multiple projects.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics and suggest corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of defects in collaboration with the development team.
• Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions to keep the QA team updated with the latest tools and techniques.
• Proven experience as a QA team lead or senior QA engineer with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Excellent understanding of SDLC and agile development processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with performance testing, security testing, and continuous integration environments is a plus.
