About The Role

BJC Outpatient Imaging-Sunset Hills is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Manager for a Full Time position at our brand new outpatient imaging center opening in October located in Sunset Hills.

Position Status: Full-Time

Schedule: Dayshift

Location: Sunset Hills (St. Louis, Missouri)

Job Summary

The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned imaging departments, including staff leadership, scheduling, quality, patient experience, equipment, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with the Administrator or Director of Center Operations, this role ensures efficient workflows, high-quality patient care, and a positive team environment while supporting organizational goals and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the daily operations of assigned imaging areas.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop staff through hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and ongoing professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety requirements, and quality assurance programs.
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, workflow, and department resources to optimize efficiency.
  • Monitor equipment, supplies, and inventory to maintain operational readiness.
  • Promote exceptional patient, physician, and customer service through strong communication and leadership.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement operational improvements, support growth initiatives, and achieve departmental goals.
  • Assist with budgeting, policy development, quality improvement, and performance metrics.
  • Serve as acting operational leader in the absence of the Administrator or Director of Center Operations, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE

  • Must have 3-5 years relevant experience with at least two years of supervisory experience in related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Must have knowledge of modern business and supervisory techniques.

EDUCATION

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or CRA preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

  • Candidates with relevant existing licensure or certification will be required to maintain that licensure or certification.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Clinically competent across multiple imaging modalities, enabling effective support of technologists and patient care teams while ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Ability to implement effective administrative policies and procedures.
  • Possesses good organizational and time management skills; attention to detail and effective problem solving.
  • Ability to plan and direct the work of others.
  • Ability to influence others to achieve organizational goals.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
