JOB SUMMARY
The Account Supervisor is a strategic client leader responsible for overseeing a portfolio of accounts while ensuring exceptional client service, strong financial performance, and the successful delivery of integrated marketing and advertising initiatives. Acting as the primary day-to-day strategic contact for clients, this role builds trusted relationships, identifies opportunities for account growth, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver work that meets client objectives and FEAST standards.
The Account Supervisor provides leadership across multiple projects, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and with the highest level of quality. They collaborate closely with Strategy, Creative, Media, and Production teams to guide projects from briefing through execution while proactively managing risks, timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
This role also contributes to FEAST’s continued growth by supporting new business initiatives, including RFP responses, proposal development, pitch preparation, and identifying opportunities to expand existing client partnerships. As a leader within the Accounts team, the Account Supervisor mentors junior team members, develops best practices and training resources, and helps foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Leadership
- Serve as the strategic day-to-day lead for assigned client accounts
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and act as a valued business advisor
- Understand client business objectives and translate them into actionable marketing and communications strategies
- Lead client meetings, presentations, status updates, and strategic planning sessions
- Anticipate client needs and proactively recommend solutions that create additional value
Account Growth & Business Development
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships through strategic recommendations and expanded scopes of work
- Support agency business development initiatives by contributing to RFP responses, proposal writing, pitch development, presentations, and new business meetings
- Collaborate with agency leadership to develop winning strategies for prospective clients
- Represent FEAST professionally in industry events, networking opportunities, and client interactions
Project & Financial Management
- Oversee multiple integrated projects from initiation through completion
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client objectives
- Monitor account profitability, utilization, forecasts, and project burn rates
- Identify risks early and recommend solutions to maintain project success
- Collaborate with Project Management to ensure resources are allocated effectively
Team Leadership
- Mentor, coach, and support Account Coordinators and Account Executives in their professional development
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance while fostering accountability and growth
- Develop and maintain onboarding materials, account processes, and team training resources
- Promote collaboration across departments and contribute to a positive team culture
Operational Excellence
- Ensure agency processes and best practices are consistently followed
- Maintain clear documentation, project communications, and client records
- Champion quality control across all client deliverables
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve workflows and client experience
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in account management within an advertising, marketing, communications, or creative agency
- Proven experience leading integrated marketing campaigns and managing multiple client accounts
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships and influence stakeholders
- Experience managing budgets, estimates, timelines, and project profitability
- Experience contributing to new business development, RFPs, and agency pitches is considered a strong asset
- Experience mentoring or managing junior team members is preferred
- Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset
