Job Description
We are looking for a Automation QA Analyst to design, execute, and manage comprehensive testing strategies that ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software solutions. The role involves developing end-to-end test plans, executing both manual and automated tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/DevOps environment. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with automation tools, and a solid background in ensuring high-quality software delivery. This position will be full-time and hybrid. You must be in the office Monday -Thursday, 6pm-3am at Makati City.
What You’ll Do
- Execute Quality Assurance activities to ensure system standards and user requirements are met
- Strong automation testing in ecommerce environments
- Write, manage, and execute test plans
- Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios
- Leverage, JIRA, SQL, and other testing tools in the execution Quality Assurance activities
- Gain understanding of operating environment, business processes and application functionality
- Experience with Mobile testing on different platforms and operating systems Experienced with use of test tools used in the DevOps environment
- Author the Test Suite - test scenarios and test cases traceable to requirements in order to validate the application deliverables
- Validate data and reports using SQL and other tools (where needed)
- Prioritize and plan quality control activities across a large project, and report on product quality regularly
- Responsible for risk assessment for each release and contribute to bug reporting and triage
- Identify, document and track issues found during testing
- Coordinate with developers and project team members to triage and resolve issues
- Determine, communicate, and execute the appropriate testing strategy for each deliverable
- Evaluates the performance of automation systems or processes, finds improvement opportunities
- Responsible for repeatable test automation or manual at all three levels of the Agile Test Pyramid
- Addresses client's requirements and resolves complex problems related to industrial automation systems architecture or process implementation

What You'll Need
Required
- 3+ years of experience in the field of automation testing
- Automated testing skills with Playwright and Selenium required
- Strong Test case writing skills (Can think of positive and negative case on the spot based on any requirements provided)
- Strong testing skills
- Working knowledge of Quality testing and business process analysis, concepts, practices, and procedures in the Agile / DevOps environment. Ability to demonstrate a certain degree of creativity combined with analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Well versed in Jira, Java
- Can plan testing strategy for optimal proficiency and delivery
- Someone that can clearly explain bugs and an approach to resolve bugs
- Articulate, friendly, cheerful, outgoing personality. Someone willing to talk in a group and contribute to resolution. Not just a head down tester, someone outspoken
- Can mentor team members and be a team player
- Strong proactiveness, eager to learn and have the right attitude
- Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers and business partners

- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
