Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and hands-on HR Lead to join our fast-growing organization. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day Human Resources and Recruitment functions while helping shape our long-term HR and talent strategy. Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, recruitment documentation, and HR files.
  • Build positive employee relations by providing coaching, guidance, and HR support to employees and clients.
  • Lead employee engagement, culture-building, and retention initiatives.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits administration, leave management, and timekeeping in collaboration with Payroll and Finance.
  • Provide HR guidance to clients on HR policies, leave administration, and workforce processes.

HR Operations & Process Improvement

  • Manage and maintain HR Information Systems (HRIS) and ensure employee data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, and analytics to support business decisions.
  • Coordinate compliance audits, policy reviews, and document management.

Business Operations

  • Partner with Finance, IT, and Learning & Development teams to ensure seamless onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and employee support processes.
  • Collaborate with the Australian General Manager throughout the recruitment process, from client discovery through candidate offers and reference checks.
  • Support workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation and process enhancements.

Strategic Projects

  • Support the CEO and General Manager on cross-functional initiatives involving HR, business operations, and organizational improvement.
  • Participate in projects that drive business growth, operational excellence, and employee experience.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into operational insights
  • Bachelor’s degree - Psychology, Business Administration, or related field with Human Resources certification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR, with at least 2 years in an associate or equivalent role
  • English fluency - Able to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently in both spoken and written English.
  • Preference given to experience as in-house HR support for non-BPO companies
  • Exposure and experience with both high-volume recruitment but also targeted recruitment
  • Demonstrated recent experience involving frequent day-to-day interaction with staff or in a process- and admin-driven professional environment
  • Strong knowledge and working understanding of Philippine labor laws and DOLE are preferred

  • Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and employment compliance, as well as good exposure to employee benefit programs
  • Natural leadership ability with very high levels of integrity. Highly confident and proactive with communication skills (written, verbal and non-verbal)
  • Adaptable to a values-led approach to people and related client management
  • Exceptional organisational and administrative ability with excellent attention to detail
  • Very good level of technical proficiency (Microsoft 365 suite, HRIS systems, payroll platforms, AI tools)
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into operational insights

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PH time (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Sydney time – winter / AEST)
  • 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PH time (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Sydney time – summer / AEDT)
